Can I borrow that book after you, Ivonne?     Butterfly rice!     The waiter was awesome and decorated the Oreo cheesecake I made (much improved from previous attempts) with a candle.     We were hooked up with a pimp parking space at Babies 'R Us thanks to having an expectant mother on board.     Yeah, I think I'll name my kid "Irma" in hopes that she'll become a truck driver.     Scanning for your baby shower registry is hard work!     Annie Jerry chillin' out at dinner after a long day of studying (Jerry) and deciding on gifts (Annie).     A practical bum (read the sign). Guess I won't be passing along any leftovers to him ...     I got some corn soup puffs in a care package from Japan! I look dumb, but they really are delicious!     The very photogenic Violeta and Turbo come hang out at my pad.     Carlos wows Albert and Crystal with tales of surfing and sharks in Maui.     Jeff's 30th bday: Carol eats her food carefully, eventually finding a bug (complete with antennae) in her food.     In my last bite of my up-'til-then excellent portabello mushroom & spinach quesadilla, there was a chunk o' chicken. Canyon Cafe reluctantly comped our meals for us.     Jeff and Angie, @ Canyon Cafe. The life of the party, naturally.     Angie's surprise worked perfectly. We left the restaurant, pretending to all be heading to Angie 'n Jeff's place, when in reality we all went to the wine-tasting venue Angie had arranged without Jeff's knowledge. She took him back home, blindfolded him, bundled him into the car, and met up with us. Surprise, Jeff! (For the record, no one got food poisoning from this dinner.)     Howard shares his guava with the world in the most disgusting way possible.     Howard gets some cupping done on his back and marvels at the "hickeys".     Hugh's freshly made tofu pudding!     After doing a family photo session, we get grub at Hometown Vegetarian Cafe.     Getting home, we do some internet telephony with webcam with our uncle in Canada.     Getting home, we do some internet telephony with webcam with our uncle in Canada.     Our uncle was drinking beer while talking to us, which explained some but not all of the things he said to us ...     Mom and Howard duke it out in a game of Speed.     Mom clasps her hands triumphantly as she slaps her last card down.     Howard comes to visit me at the clinic, and brings me food. :)     We go to get our Stinky Tofu Pot at China Gourmet (the only place in Houston who does Stinky Tofu Pot!).     We bump into the other Howard at China Gourmet.     Howard cruelly utilizes Fumbles as a heat dissipating device (and a not very efficient one at that) while using my laptop.     Both Esther and my bro needed to use computers while I was trying to fix a 3rd one.     Howard, Hugh, Esther, and I chatting over beers at Little Woodrow's.     Hugh, Esther, Caroline, Howard after a night of good company and conversation at Little Woodrow's.     Howard reheats some leftovers to eat before we head out to a party.     We go to Daniel's house first, where Howard tries to amuse the cat.     Daniel's surprise bday party crowd. Eric's face pretty much sums up how I felt that night about the bro drinking a tad too much. :)     Me playing IT girl and reformatting computers in preparation for bro leaving the next day.     I'd like a hone accessory.     Dad and Howard choosing out choice cuts of Chinese BBQ pork.     So ... do they have "Chicken headoff"?     Noodle soup at Tan Tan: Howard with some pig intestine. I could never eat the stuff even back when I wasn't a vegetarian.     No matter how full - gotta get the bubble milk tea! And shaved ice with da fixins!     I introduce Howard and Dad to the automatic post office machine thingy.
