Pictures taken with my Fuji FinePix 4700 Zoom digital camera.

TN_DSCF2137.JPG The awesome Chicago O'Hare airport.
TN_DSCF2143.JPG The smallest airplane I'd ever been in - 2 seats on one side of the aisle, 1 seat on the other. The plane was so small that when we landed at Syracuse, they pulled the stairs up to the plane and we walked down onto the airport, THEN walked into the airport. Hahahah!
TN_DSCF2146.JPG The foreboding weather at Syracuse welcoming me. Turns out me and my spoiled Cali butt were so not prepared for the weekend of cold, wind, and rain. Got sick promptly upon returning to Cali.
TN_DSCF2149.JPG L-R: Mom, Dad, me, Howard.  We made it to Zebb's like 15 mins before closing to take advantage of the famed half-price appetizers. That was the most unhealthy vegetarian meals I've ever had in my life. Fried everything! =) Ah well. It's all good. Howard had a double order of Zebb's wings, while I munched on poppers, quesadillas, and cheese sticks ... MMMMMMMMMMMM ...
TN_DSCF2147.JPG Me and my restroom fetish again. (See my other incidents here.) I guess the dorm restrooms are rigged so that they could be for either sex, but I mean there was only ONE urinal in there. So if more than one guy had to pee ... maybe they could all aim and try to share the urinal and not pee on each other? hehehe.
TN_DSCF2150.JPG (31 sec video clip, 340kb. For all video clips, you will need Windows Media Player.) A somewhat rushed breakfast on the morning of day 1 of the graduation festivities. If you can't view it by just left-clicking, try right-clicking and saving the file to your computer.
TN_DSCF2151.JPG Howard trying on his graduation gear.
TN_DSCF2153.JPG Howard fixing the hat juuuuuuust right ... don't mess up the hair now ...
TN_DSCF2154.JPG On the way to the Carrier Dome on Day 1 of the graduation festivities. L-R: Howard, Dad, Mom.  Howard thinks he looks studly or something ...
TN_DSCF2155.JPG L-R: Dad, Howard, Mom. I never did get my pic with Howard in front of the SU campus. I see how it is! j/k =)
TN_DSCF2157.JPG My proud mom and dad overlooking the ceremonies.  I have to brag that I think my mom had the coolest outfit of all the parents. =) Although I would never have worn it just on the basis of the weather. =) (aside from the fact that I wouldn't look half as good as my mom does in it.)
TN_DSCF2176.JPG I left the fam to camp out right where the grads walked off (to the annoyance of everyone around me, I'm sure).  This is some chick named Caroline Chen. Impostor, I tell you! There is only one Caroline Chen! And that is I! MUAHAHAHAHAAAAAA ... okay ... yeah =)
TN_DSCF2180.JPG L-R: Andy J., Kelly, and Michael R. (all roommates). Michael R. is about to embrace Prof. Mel Coffee. You may have seen Michael around, because according to Howard: "[Michael]'s a big-time news reporter at the ABC affiliate in Syracuse ... had the job WHILE he was in school ... what a prodigy."
TN_DSCF2181.JPG Kelly hugging Professor Mel Coffee. Professor Mel Coffee won the Class of 2002 award for Best Professor at Newhouse. Andy J. looks on. According to Howard: "Andy REALLY looks like Emilio Estevez."
And ... just because Howard said that about Andy J., I decided to throw in a bonus pic of a comparison!
TN_DSCF2255.JPG And there he is! Too bad Howard looks dorky with the tassel stuck to his face. =) I love you too, bro!
TN_DSCF2256.JPG Getting a last glimpse of Howard before I get out of everyone's way and back to my seat. =)
TN_DSCF2192.JPG Afterwards, I made it my mission to follow Howard around and get pics of him with all his friends. This is the first of 'em. Try to find yours! Heh. L-R: Nate, Howard.
TN_DSCF2193.JPG L-R: Nicole, Howard.  I think Nicole was one of the few friends that was close to Howard's height. =)
TN_DSCF2194.JPG L-R: Adam K., Howard.
TN_DSCF2196.JPG L-R: Howard, Peter C. (You may know him as DJ Teknos)
TN_DSCF2197.JPG L-R: Dad, Howard, Mom. I'm telling you, I did not get a single picture with just me and Howard. Sigh ... the price I pay to be the designated photographer.
TN_DSCF2200.JPG Howard: "Sorry Dean Rubin, I just let one rip."  Dean Rubin: "You know son, it's alright. Everyone farts.  Although yours smells an awful lot like rotten eggs. Don't worry, I won't let on that it's you. Just try not to do it during your job interviews."
TN_DSCF2201.JPG Dean Rubin: "Now Howie, as much as I'd like to talk to you, the odor is getting awfully ripe. Good luck to you though!" Howard: "..."
TN_DSCF2202.JPG L-R: Pete S., Howard. According to Howard, Pete is a "future sports journalist for some newspaper somewhere ... a GREAT guy."
TN_DSCF2203.JPG L-R: Howard, Lauren.  Lauren and Howard go way back, as they say ... they went to Dulles High School together. I guess this is my cue to pimp Classmates.com ... heh.
TN_DSCF2204.JPG L-R: Howard, Shaunna.  Shaunna is also a Dulles High School alumni. According to Howard: "Shaunna was just in Syracuse to visit Lauren... what a friend!"
TN_DSCF2205.JPG L-R: Eric S., Howard, Kelly.  This is when I discovered that I had to hold down the button to make the flash go. Ah, I seeeee ...
TN_DSCF2206.JPG

We turned 'em around to face the sunlight and lo and behold, I was able to see their faces! L-R: Andy J., Eric S., Howard, Kelly.

TN_DSCF2207.JPG Such a cute pose. In back: Kelly. In front, L-R: Howard, Rachel. Rachel has is a graphics designer, so if you need some wrapping paper design, or some illustration for a kids book perhaps, hit her up at http://www.rachelareilly.com !
TN_DSCF2208.JPG These guys were so funny. They wore Krispy Kreme hats in place of their grad caps and wrote all over them: "Hi! My name is __, and I need a job!" L-R: Matt, Howard. According to Howard: "Matt is arguably the best pool player at Syracuse (qualified for the nationals)."
TN_DSCF2209.JPG Howard and Professor Frank Currier, award-winning correspondent of CBS Evening News with Dan Rather fame, and is Howard's favorite prof. This is a guy with Emmy awards all over his office. He actually told my parents that "everyone likes Howard". [gag] Okay Howard, how much did you pay him to say that in front of Mom and Dad? =)
TN_DSCF2212.JPG L-R: Dad, Howard, me, Mom. I love the SU campus. I guess considering all the money the students pay, it *better* be nice. =) That's the chapel in the background.
TN_DSCF2213.JPG We asked some grungy dude sitting outside the Newhouse School to take this pic for us. Turns out he was a professor of photography. Dang. L-R: me, Dad, Howard, Mom.
TN_DSCF2216.JPG Tour of the radio station WAER where Howard arguably spent most of his waking hours while at SU.
TN_DSCF2218.JPG (1 min 23 sec video clip, 908kb.) Howard shows us around WAER, plus he let us listen to a special newscast where Bob Costas spontaneously showed up and did an on-air broadcast for the station.
TN_DSCF2222.JPG (1 min 53 sec video clip, 1.2Mb.) Howard pretends he knows how to work all the buttons. =) Actually I was very impressed. And he does some mock broadcasts and mock interviews of the fam. =)
TN_DSCF2226.JPG Pictures of famous alumni of SU. L-R: Marv Albert, Dick Stockton, Bob Costas, Len Berman, Sean McDonough. According to Howard, they're "all sportsguys ... all Syracuse guys ... all WAER Sports guys ... hopefully I can follow in their footsteps as well as open new doors as an Asian male anchor."
TN_DSCF2229.JPG "Orange Crunch" cereal box spotted perched atop the TV at the radio station.
TN_DSCF2234.JPG L-R: me, Mom, Howard, Dad. Howard in his broadcaster's pose.
TN_DSCF2236.JPG (25 sec video clip, 274kb.) Howard's secret identity comes out! He owns both a compact AND a makeup brush! Dang Howard, *I* don't even have THOSE!!! Heehee. Looks like I will be asking you for makeup tips. =)
TN_DSCF2237.JPG Back row, L-R: Dad, Mom, Howard, me. Front row, L-R: Mrs. Yuen, Lilah, Anne Mary, Cynthia, Annabel, Chris.  Dinner @ China Road on Saturday night. As you can see, we utterly DESTROYED that meal. =)
TN_DSCF2238.JPG L-R: Dad, Mom, Mrs. Yuen, Lilah, Anne Mary, Cynthia, Annabel. The girls are so cute. =) And I suppose my dad is cute too. =)
TN_DSCF2239.JPG L-R: Anabelle, Chris, Howard, me. We're holding up the little graduation bears that my mom gave all of us. (Yes, I'm graduating too ...)
TN_DSCF2240.JPG A foot-powered sink at the Carrier Dome restroom. I had NEVER seen one of these before, and so, I had to take a picture of it. The ladies in the restroom were all staring at me, but hey, I'll never see them again, right? =)
TN_DSCF2241.JPG Day 2. Again I camped out and invaded people's space in order to get a good photo opp. And look! There he is, right in the middle! =) I cheered for him as best as I could, since I'd left my parents back up in the stands. Even if they were with me, I'm sure they wouldn't have whooped and hollered with me. =)
TN_DSCF2242.JPG Howard raising his arms. Yo man, it's not nice to do that unless you use deodorant!
TN_DSCF2243.JPG A blurry but happy Howard!
TN_DSCF2254.JPG (18 sec video clip, 610kb.) OK, first it started out with students secretly blowing up inflatable beach balls and balloons and punching them around the crowd. But the mother of all the inflatable things was a RAFT!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
TN_DSCF2257.JPG A general pic of the commencement grounds, and ... Oh Canada! Our home and native laaaaand! =) New York City major Rudy Giuliani was the speaker. He told of stories from 9/11, and it made tears start brimming over for me ...
TN_DSCF2259.JPG L-R: Mom, Dad. We snapped a pic of the commencement grounds while they were packing up.
TN_DSCF2260.JPG L-R: Me, Mom. Again, I'd say she would have to win the award of Best-Dressed Mom. =)
TN_DSCF2261.JPG The Yu family was so thoughtful - they brought this delicious chocolate cake and had the SU grads' names on it! L-R: Chris, Howard, Annabel.
TN_DSCF2262.JPG This image cannot be erased from my mind ... the image of true friends parting and not knowing when they might meet again. Annabel's tears almost moved me to tears. I wanted to put the emotion to some use and tried to write a poem ... L-R: Annabel, Howard.
