The awesome Chicago O'Hare airport.

The smallest airplane I'd ever been in - 2 seats on one side of the aisle, 1 seat on the other. The plane was so small that when we landed at Syracuse, they pulled the stairs up to the plane and we walked down onto the airport, THEN walked into the airport. Hahahah!

The foreboding weather at Syracuse welcoming me. Turns out me and my spoiled Cali butt were so not prepared for the weekend of cold, wind, and rain. Got sick promptly upon returning to Cali.

L-R: Mom, Dad, me, Howard. We made it to Zebb's like 15 mins before closing to take advantage of the famed half-price appetizers. That was the most unhealthy vegetarian meals I've ever had in my life. Fried everything! =) Ah well. It's all good. Howard had a double order of Zebb's wings, while I munched on poppers, quesadillas, and cheese sticks ... MMMMMMMMMMMM ...

Me and my restroom fetish again. (See my other incidents here.) I guess the dorm restrooms are rigged so that they could be for either sex, but I mean there was only ONE urinal in there. So if more than one guy had to pee ... maybe they could all aim and try to share the urinal and not pee on each other? hehehe.

My proud mom and dad overlooking the ceremonies. I have to brag that I think my mom had the coolest outfit of all the parents. =) Although I would never have worn it just on the basis of the weather. =) (aside from the fact that I wouldn't look half as good as my mom does in it.)

I left the fam to camp out right where the grads walked off (to the annoyance of everyone around me, I'm sure). This is some chick named Caroline Chen. Impostor, I tell you! There is only one Caroline Chen! And that is I! MUAHAHAHAHAAAAAA ... okay ... yeah =)

L-R: Andy J., Kelly, and Michael R. (all roommates). Michael R. is about to embrace Prof. Mel Coffee. You may have seen Michael around, because according to Howard: "[Michael]'s a big-time news reporter at the ABC affiliate in Syracuse ... had the job WHILE he was in school ... what a prodigy."

These guys were so funny. They wore Krispy Kreme hats in place of their grad caps and wrote all over them: "Hi! My name is __, and I need a job!" L-R: Matt, Howard. According to Howard: "Matt is arguably the best pool player at Syracuse (qualified for the nationals)."

Howard and Professor Frank Currier, award-winning correspondent of CBS Evening News with Dan Rather fame, and is Howard's favorite prof. This is a guy with Emmy awards all over his office. He actually told my parents that "everyone likes Howard". [gag] Okay Howard, how much did you pay him to say that in front of Mom and Dad? =)

Tour of the radio station WAER where Howard arguably spent most of his waking hours while at SU.

A foot-powered sink at the Carrier Dome restroom. I had NEVER seen one of these before, and so, I had to take a picture of it. The ladies in the restroom were all staring at me, but hey, I'll never see them again, right? =)

Day 2. Again I camped out and invaded people's space in order to get a good photo opp. And look! There he is, right in the middle! =) I cheered for him as best as I could, since I'd left my parents back up in the stands. Even if they were with me, I'm sure they wouldn't have whooped and hollered with me. =)

A general pic of the commencement grounds, and ... Oh Canada! Our home and native laaaaand! =) New York City major Rudy Giuliani was the speaker. He told of stories from 9/11, and it made tears start brimming over for me ...

The Yu family was so thoughtful - they brought this delicious chocolate cake and had the SU grads' names on it! L-R: Chris, Howard, Annabel.

This image cannot be erased from my mind ... the image of true friends parting and not knowing when they might meet again. Annabel's tears almost moved me to tears. I wanted to put the emotion to some use and tried to write a poem ... L-R: Annabel, Howard.
