Subject: Hello From Yuliya!!!
Date: Fri, 7 Jul 2006 18:41:07 +0200

Hello friend!!! My name is Yuliya. I for the first time get acquainted
through the Internet. I do not know as to begin my letter to you.
Likely I need to tell a little about itself. My name is Yuliya. I live
in the city of Kazan. I was born there in July, 30, 1981. I have
finished there architecture - building university. Now I work in
building the companies. My work is very pleasant to me. To me to like
to skate. And as I very strongly like to float. I the sociable,
good-natured person. And as I am very romantic. I search for serious
attitudes, and I shall be happy to study you closer. I could not find
love here and I had to address for the help to the Internet. I want to
create real family. To have strong attitudes. I know the English
language more likely well. I think, which problems in us with dialogue
will not be. I hope, that our dialogue will make sense. It would be
fine, if I and you could make Friendship or more than simply
friendship. If you are interested in me that write to me on mine
e-mail: clgirl28@eastlinecorp.org
I shall wait your answer.
Bye!

-----------------------

And so ... there is some 25-year-old hottie from Kazan (where is Kazan? Oh, in Russia) who wants to "make more than simply friendship" with me. As I was reading I was all getting excited like, "Is there such a guy out there for me? My Internet soulmate?? One who strongly likes to float???" but then the e-mail address "clgirl28" ruined it all for me. Dammit. Stop playing with my heart, you darned Russian mail-order brides!!

I actually SAW a mail order bride. Well, I *assume* it was one. One of my clients - nicest guy EVER, very sweet, soft spoken - walks in with this little girl (at least 15 years his junior I am sure - she is legal though). She doesn't speak but a couple licks of English. Anyways he wanted to add her to his file. It was an interesting session.

Wow.

I have to agree, floating is nice. I assume she means in water. Of course, if she can do it in air, then I need to start writing her an e-mail. That would be pretty cool...

What's interesting to me is how much this person sounds like me, and even has the same birthday. That either means I'm extremely phony, feminine, or a male order bride.

"Male" order bride. Heheheheh. That could really take some customers by surprise. "No no no! I meant a 'mail' ordered female bride!"

i don't want to alarm you, but if you substitute Yuliya with Yoda, and Kazan with Dagobah, i'd say you have a bonafide love letter from the master jedi himself.

his grammar gave him away. for example: "... problems in us with dialogue will not be..."

that, plus he let it slip that he can levitate.

lookout!
;)

Oh, my God. Timothy, that is frickin brilliant... I re-read the whole letter with my Yoda accent, and it works SO well.

You know, Yoda never said whether he had relatives. Perhaps his kin came to our galaxy long, long ago and settled. This could be his great great great great great great grandniece or something...

Ah yes. Yoda-ish grammar I did suspect, but did not read aloud to ascertain, as Eddy probably did. :)

Whoever sent me the youtube link, thanks! That was hilarious. That white girl's Chinese is pretty darned good. And already there are haters commenting on it.

Blade: care to share the pics? :)

timothy: I tried to leave a comment on your site but it gave me an error msg: "Not Found. Sorry, Guess I haven't blogged about that yet!"

Jason: if this is you, I'll go ahead and order two and see what I get. Hahahaha :)
