How could an e-mail like this NOT make my day? It warmed my heart from its very core, at a time when all I thought was left of it was ice, or even worse, nothing.

wow, you still keep in touch with your high school teacher? i can't even remember any of my h.s. teacher's names...

She is a very special lady to not just me but many of her students. You'd have to meet her to know what I mean. :)

Oh goodness. A wave of guilt crashes over me as I realize I know who you are talking about. A dear person, for sure, and from whom I learned many many useful things... God love her, she loves her students.
